Astrology is a tool that has been used for thousands of years to
increase our understanding of self, those around us, and the universe in which
we search for love.
But what is astrology? (See Appendix 1)
Will and Jada, you might ask: how can the position of the stars at
the time of our birth influence who we are and who we become, how we give love,
and how we feel comfortable receiving it?
The answer is: all of life is
vibration. In fact, scientists now tell us the universe is one unbroken field
of vibration. Our genes and DNA are enfolded in the vibrating universe, which
means that our personal vibrations are formed by the positions of the major
vibrating objects--the sun, moon and planets— of our solar system at the time
of our birth.
Modern
astrology is based on thousands of years of observation on exactly how
positions of celestial bodies produce personal traits, and that certainly
includes the way we love.
Modern scientists are saying that much of what the ancients
believed can now be proven scientifically. Finally we have the science to
explain why good astrologers have been so accurate for so long!
Will and Jada, you might ask: how can religious people believe in
astrology. We don’t believe in it the way we believe in religion. Like science, astrology is a tool for helping

to the analysis of personality in a deeper way than we did in Soul Vibrations, our 1996 book. Before
we wrote the book we were studying the spirituality of positive thinking, the
spirituality of self- realization We were studying the kinds of insights that
fill “The Secret.”
The “secret” is the Law of Attraction that "has traveled
through centuries to reach you," says the film. Astrology has been
traveling along with it as a means of discovering the when, where, why and how
of each person’s unique law of attraction.

CHAPTER TWO: Love, Sex and Your Sun
Sign
Each one of us finds that certain types of people arouse romantic
feeling and sexual passions in us and certain others don’t. The vibes can be so strong that they make you
nervous or so weak that the leave you unmoved. That is what we call “initial
attraction,” and it is very important.
There are certain people who cause an increase in heart rate, a
smile on the face or inside the heart, we might say. We lose our appetites and
often cannot sleep when they are on our minds.
So just for fun let’s imagine what a person of your sun sign, Will
might feel when you meet someone of Jada’s sun sign.
Will’s initial though about Jada might be: neat and clean,
precise, and thoughtful, holding back and watching, even when laughing,
judging, testing, a little shy, maybe not shy but reserved, tough minded,
serious, a little bit unsure of self.

true, I’m not like a million other people of the same sun sign. “
Well, no you’re not. The uniqueness grows as we go deeper.
When you are starting a love affair there are tips on how to
seduce people of each sun sign. If your
relationship has been going on for a short or long time it is always good to
think about how to re-seduce.
How do you
seduce a Libra? Bring her (or him, yes, him) roses “just because, and if it’s
violins she (or he) loves, let them play” –is that what the songs says? Okay,
yes, for Libras, that’s good. They have
a romantic streak a mile wide. You can hit it with flowers, dainty stuff (for

Libra wants the entire occasion to come off without a spoiler, without ugly

Who said that
substance is more important than form?
Not with Libra. How you do it is as important as what you do. Do it with

Libra, you so much want people, not just a person, but people to love you. You find it hard to live without the feeling
that you are loved. You flirt to get
romantic attention. Your way of being in
the world is designed to bring admiration.
Will, your
sexual urges may be strong, but strong sexual urges come from other parts of
your horoscope chart, as for Libra the romantic foreplay is more important than
the consummation. Getting there is more enjoyable than being there.
Candle
lights, music, fine surroundings a tasty meal, great wine –all of that is an
essential part of love to you. There is
definitely a delicate side to your sexual nature. It must be catered to if true
love is to happen for you.
Ideally,
Will, Libra love isn't like sweet honey but more like bubbly champagne. Honey

You often

No one can
be more charming or demonstrative. You like to shower your partner with

There is
freedom in the way you love. Unlike Taurus,
the other sign ruled by Venus, the planet of love, you are not excessive
jealous or possessive, not of a person, but you are jealous if someone tries to

The freedom
you want does not have to include sexual promiscuity, but it should include the

being sexually faithful is concerned you can have a “one and only,” but as far

exception could result from your indecisiveness. You are easy to influence in

Modify this statement to suit yourself, but make it often to
yourself. Remember, we’re after more self-love here.
Many things in the human experience cause the fear and doubt that
makes self- love difficult, but there is a place in each of us that can never
be hurt, harmed on endangered. In that place there is no doubt or fear. In the statement above you are speaking from
that place and speaking to that place. Repeat the statement and smile.
So let’s look at the general approach to relationships for Jada Pinkett
Smith. Again, the sun sign won’t tell the whole story; but each reader can begin

You believe in rules.
Method Man or Method Woman is a Virgo.
You believe that things should operate as they were designed to operate
and you can be warlike when you feel that someone is breaking the rules.
However, your artistic side often leads you to stretch the rules
yourself, not break them, you say, just stretch them while condemning others
for doing so.

Knowledge of self should go along with knowledge of other. So how do you seduce
(or re-seduce) a Virgo? How do you get to know, or get to know all over again?
You don’t
seduce a Virgo. You sit for a test.
Sounds bad? Not really! Just be
yourself, which means you have a lot of freedom. You don’t have to put on an act. Just keep it
real. Virgo will let you know.
Don’t ask if
you passed the test, Virgo might not even want to know that he or she is giving
a test. Who ever wants to seduce a Virgo
do not try to seduce. “Would you like to get together again? I’d like to

Virgo mind.

response at face value. Even when the answer is yes, Virgo might say no.

Virgos say they don’t play games but they do.

Watch closely. Virgo doesn’t get seduced. Virgo makes a decision, but while

Flowers can be
thrown in for consideration. Chrysanthemums

A flashy gift might work but a practical one is likely to work

Stop laughing. You’ll stop

Giving something serious can show that you are serious. Elegant
gifts, sure, but put more money in something useful and you’ll get a higher

And moving right along let’s look at the sun sign love vibrations

Okay, Jada, how much of that is true? Remember that a sun sign

You can be
very hungry to please. In intimacy if the modest side is acknowledged, you can

creative side that is not usually commented on when astrologers analyze the
Virgo personality.
The partner
must be able to withstand criticism, even of intimate behavior; but the reason
for the criticism is to make things better. Make Virgo feel comfortable and you
can really see a party, with Virgo playfully in charge.
You might miss
some of the romantic fluff but you do know how to create a good solid bond
between you and the person you love. And you’re sexy enough. In your way you are sexier than most, if
we’re talking about steady rocking.
The astrological
symbolism is of the shy virgin. There is true in this symbolism. Even when you
are charming you are not usually quickly romantic or demonstrative. Many Virgos have very strong inhibitions,
which makes you hard to satisfy.
You are
usually reluctant to express their feelings verbally. Your lover is not going
to get many love poems written by you.
Most attempts to force you into verbal romantic expression might inhibit
you even more. It is almost as if you are embarrassed to hear yourself saying something
mushy.
Sometimes
you erect an entirely false personality and make conscious efforts to say sweet
things, but usually you’d rather let your actions speak for you. The actions
may not consist of romantic gestures but they can say “I love you” in more
essential ways.
Love lives
in you on a very practical place. It may not be surrounded by flowers but by
trees. Perfume might not fill the air. Violins might not be playing in your
place of love. What might be there instead a great deal of kindness, consideration
and concern for the one you love. Solid!
Like most
others you have your sexual whims, but you're seldom carried away by them. A
person usually has to have more than sex appeal to turn you on—intelligence,
social standing, money, or at least a good job.
Astrologers
often say that, like the earth, Virgo's sexual nature is slow to heat and slow
to cool. Virgos are often too sober and serious for some, but you can be
intensely sexual and, like the natives of the other earth signs, quite
possessive and jealous.
You’ve gotten
a bad reputation as a lover. Modest –you can be. Inhibited--you can be. Unemotional--you are at times, but it all
depends on who or what sets the mood; because when aroused in the right way the
modesty and inhibitions go out the curtained bedroom window. Curtained
--because there is seldom an exhibitionist strain in you.
You like to
keep it secret, but inside that “secret garden” that Barry White (a Virgo)

real in bed and out. Down to earth is how you like it, so bring it that way or
don’t bring it at all, if you want a Virgo to accept it as love. This does not
mean that you Virgos do not play games.

What is Astrology?
What is
Astrology? –Astrology was born from the wedding of the Wisdom Tradition and
astronomy in ancient
Babylonian
astronomers (sky watchers) began noticing correlations between what happened in
the sky and what happened on earth. Humans didn’t know why back then but the
correlation allowed early astrologers to predict events on earth with enough
accuracy to earn for astrologers high places in all of the societies of the
ancient
And of course
no one knew back then about unified field theory and resonant vibrations; or
that everything –sun, moon, and planets vibrates in an ever-changing unified
field with everything else.
All the
ancients had were the results of their observations, which told them that there
were correlations. With thousands of years to observe they catalogued results of
these correlations even if they had to resort to mysticism, pseudoscience or
intuition to give reasons.
With enough
cases under its belt astrology became amazingly accurate at predicting
probabilities, especially if the astrologer was gifted with extraordinary
attunement to the vibrations of the universe.
The marriage
between astronomy and astrology ended in divorce, with astrology becoming the
consort of philanders while astronomy stayed home with math and science.
Both Greek and
Roman dynasties gave a lot of power to astrologers but science was well on its
way to honoring provable knowledge over wisdom (probable knowledge), with a
separated sphere for the unknowable called religion.
Those who saw
value in knowing things that might be probable even if not predictable and
provable still spent time with astrology, which eventually was associated with
the mythological Whore of Babylon, a worker of magic, a dabbler seeking
predictable truths in the realm that was given over to religion
Still the whore was looked
upon favorably by many of the paramount figures in Western History: Plato,
Ptolemy, Kepler, Goethe, St Thomas Aquinas, and Copernicus, for example. Isaac
Newton, regarded as the father of modern physic, studied astrology. Even one of
the fathers of the Enlightenment, John Locke, was a
believer.
Virtually every Roman
Emperor, popes, cardinals, and the royalty of
Prominent people in many
areas of modern life secretly consult astrologers. We at Soul Vibrations have been secretly consulted
by a man waiting to close an $85 million dollar deal in the communications
industry and by another man who was on his way to becoming one of the most
successful producers currently in American television and film.
Good
astrologers have been sought by those who want knowledge of the probable
results of the workings of unknown forces in the universe beyond what religion
gives --faith in the face of the unknown.
Nano-sciences
and cybernetics are based on measured results of the workings of physically
nonexistent forces. This does not mean that science is going to marry astrology
again. Astrology has been too unfaithful for too long, but it does help us see

What is Love?
Love can mean a lot of things and so we’d better define what love
means when we at Soul Vibrations use it in our reports. We mean a sense of
affection and sexual attraction to another person. It ranges from intimate
romantic feelings to passionate sexual desire, with all the possible stops
between.
We know of the other forms of love, but we are talking about love
that contains an element of romance and sexual passion. We’re talking about the
kind that usually involves an increased release of chemicals such as
testosterone and estrogen.
This increase in levels of male and female sex hormones last for
only a few weeks, but the levels often rise again when the two people come into
intimate contact with each other.
We’re talking about the kind of love that causes the brain
chemistry to change so that we experience mental sensations that we do not
experience when we are not in love.
Google the words pheromones, dopamine, norepinephrine, and
serotonin. These chemicals charge around in your brain and up and down your
nervous system when love strikes. They stimulate the pleasure centers of the
brain and usually produce increased heart rate, loss of appetite and sleep, and
intense feeling of excitement.
Song writers have asked the essential question: "How do you
keep the music playing?" How can you keep it from fading too fast?” Chemists tell us that the chemical reactions
to love are considered temporary and they come and go depending on the situation.
The love we are speaking of often comes with a desire for some
kind of commitment beyond the fading chemistry.
Being together, sometimes for marriage, usually for companionship,
mental and/or physical, often it’s about having and raising children.
Even when all of the elements are not present some of them must be
in order to fit the definition of love that we are dealing with here.

Influences of the planets – In addition to the sun, the moon and
planets also move through the signs and each has a particular influence. We
don’t know why each planet seems to have the influence that it has. Since all
influences happen in an eternal, indivisible, invisible field of energy the
only thing that we can do is catalogue what we observe. Over thousands of years
astrologers have observed what is depicted in the chart below:

in a birth chart is said to show what the native needs to feel loved and

worry, negative emotions and places of perceived imprisonment. |
* Ceres is not actually
a planet but is one of what astronomers call "dwarf planets,” or large
asteroid in the solar system. Invisible to the naked eye it was discovered in
1801. Pluto was once counted as the ninth planet, but since 2006 astronomers
have reclassified it as an asteroid. The dwarf planet Eris is larger than Pluto
and takes more than twice as long to circle the sun --560 as opposed to 248 for
Pluto. Only recently have astrologers begun cataloging the influence of Ceres,
Pluto and Eris. Since they move so slowly their influences seem to be on vast
shifts in history, climate, nations, cultures, and religions.
Astrological Houses --While we are at it we just as well talk
about Houses. With you as the center we can say that the sun, moon and planets
move at different rates across the sky, but the constellations (signs) also
move in relation to you and in relation to the sun, moon and planets.
In astrology the sky around you is divided into twelve pie-shaped
sections called Houses. The First House is the section that is about to rise
above the horizon at the time of your birth. The Second House is the one right
after that, moving counter clockwise until you come to the Twelfth House, which
completes the 3600 circle, or sphere, if we are talking about three-
dimensional representation.
The Babylonians were first
to discover that when celestial bodies are in certain portions of the sky they
influence certain closely related activities in life. From Babylonian times
until now astrologers have refined and catalogued these areas of influences.

So what do we have? Sun,

Confused yet? Do you understand what an astrologer is saying when
he or she says: “When you were born Venus was in Scorpio in the 9th House. This
gives a tendency for you to be very passionate in love, perhaps with someone
from another culture.”
“But at the time of your birth the Moon was in the 6th house,
trine (having a beneficial angle) to the sun in the 3rd House, which gives an
even more powerful inclination to seek love from someone far away from where
you were born.”
Wow! There are an infinite
number of factors that good astrologers look at, so many that highly trained
intuition is actually the best way to
answer any questions you might have. In this report we use intuition to give

The name is suggestive that the energies of one astrological
force is working against another, and this is true. Forces in opposition
create tension, conflict and confrontation, but there is a possibility of
complementary action if the forces in opposition achieve synthesis. |
